OceanAmp is looking for Oceanlovers as regular part time editors/ authors. Individuals with all ranges of experience are welcome to apply.

OceanAmp is looking for Oceanlovers as regular part time editors/ authors.

Individuals with all ranges of experience are welcome to apply.

The role will require

Identifying unique and compelling stories relevant to ocean enthusiasts every week.
You should be able to write, edit, assign and publish complete blog stories on a regular basis.
The position will involve formatting, editing, and posting content to the site on a weekly basis as well as helping to develop and execute the editorial calendar.

All our positions are volunteer positions so far.
You are free to work from home on your own timeschedule but should be relieable and eager to create a maningful platform together.

Ideal candidates will possess the following characteristics:

  • experience as a blogger , journalist or writer
  • Capable of writing in English
  • Have understanding and interest for Ocean related issues such as Ocean Conservation, Marine Biology, OceanScience, Diving, Surfing, Sailing, Oceanrelated Arts, Music, culture.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and WordPress, SEO, keywords and blogging.
  • Ability to be flexible, self-motivated, and work from home.
  • Ability to write professional-level stories, ready to publish on current events and breaking news also on short notice
