Japan plans illegal Whaling again!

The International Court of Justice in the De Hague (ICJ) declared Japanese scientific whaling program around Antarctica to be unlawful im March. In August Japanannounced that it was working on a new, scientific whaling program. Now they announce their plans for the new scientific whaling program NEWREP-A in Antarctica, among which 333 minke whales will be killed. With this Japan not only disregards Court, but also the decision of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) of September.

Scientific whaling is unnecessary, because really valuable data can only be obtained only by observing living whales. In addition, also scientists agree that there is no humane methods of killing whales, and in any case it is cruel.
