Want to learn about the Oceans? Sea&Learn is a great program on little island of Saba in the Dutch Antilles.
“Sea & Learn” is a non-profit foundation (founded in 2003) that brings together the local community, various nature experts and visitors to understand the value of nature. One of Sea & Learn’s goal is “to reinforce the importance of protecting nature and educate the potential safe-keepers in order to sustain viability of Saba’s eco-tourism product and other environments throughout the world.” says founder Lynn Costenaro.
In this video you can see a huge barrel sponge that sponge expert Joe Pawlik measured to be over 250 years old!
